QOM URBAN RAIL LINE A

Line A of Qom urban rail with a length of 14.7 kilometers, connects southeast of Qom to its northwest. Line A runs from Jamkaran mosque and after passing 14 stations along the route, ends at Ghale Kamkar.

Project description:

In two separate contracts, PSCE was asked to prepare tender documents for Qom Metro Line A, EPC contracts which included tender bid data, description of works and contract appendices. In the second stage, PSCE had to review and control conceptual and basic design documents prepared by the EPC contractor. The main fields of PSCE services in this project were as follows:

• Civil studies including stations and tunnels, ancillary buildings, depot and parking, ventilation shafts and …
• Infrastructure and superstructure studies of the route, depot and parking
• Traffic and rolling stock studies
• OCC studies
• Technical design of telecommunication and signaling systems of the route, depot and the station
• Power supply studies of the route, depot and station
• Overhead catenary or third rail for power of the route, depot and station
• Signaling studies
• Services related to operation period
• Engineering control services and supervision of construction works
