Nazarabad County, located at the westernmost point of Alborz Province, is bordered to the north by Savojbolagh County and Qazvin Province, to the west by Qazvin, to the south by Eshtehard District, and to the east again by Savojbolagh. The county's capital is Nazarabad City, situated at an elevation of approximately 1307 meters above sea level, with an average elevation of around 1331 meters. The city lies about 75 kilometers west of Tehran, connected via the Tehran–Qazvin Highway. The Nazarabad Industrial Town is situated in the southwest of Alborz Province, approximately 6 kilometers southeast of Nazarabad, along the Nazarabad–Najmabad Road. The expansion of industrial zones in this region has been pursued for decades, primarily due to its strategic geographical location, proximity to industrial and production hubs, and access to major national transportation routes, including the Tehran–Qazvin expressway. One of the key private industrial parks in the region is the Sepehr Nazarabad Industrial Park, covering an area of approximately 425 hectares, located in the southern part of Nazarabad. This industrial zone, established in 1994 (1373 SH), is around 52 kilometers from Karaj and accommodates a diverse range of industries including food processing, metalwork, chemicals, textiles, cellulose, plastics, electrical and electronics, and non-metallic minerals. Current Development Projects in the Industrial Zone In response to the pressing need for industrial growth and the resulting welfare and security benefits, the construction of the Nazarabad Industrial Complex has been initiated. One of the major ongoing components of this project is the construction of a workshop complex (Phase 3) with a built-up area of approximately 35,000 m², comprising 5 blocks and 98 industrial units (sheds), each with an average area of 357 m². In Phase 1, the structural frameworks of the blocks are being built. In the following phases, architectural finishing, internal installations, and site development will be completed. Currently, Phase 1 of the project is underway, with Pardisan Sazeh Consulting Engineers serving as the supervising authority for both high-level and on-site construction monitoring. Additionally, the development plan includes the construction of a commercial complex with a total built-up area of approximately 2,650 m², consisting of two floors, which is also currently under construction.
